Did you hear about those serious security flaws found in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Other Chromium based browser?
Issue:
Chromium based browser was affected by a high-severity “type confusion” vulnerability in its V8 JavaScript engine.
Impact:
Allow attackers to execute Remote Code Execution (RCE) on a user’s system or browser.
Affected Browsers:
1. Google Chrome versions prior to 125.0.6422.60
2. Microsoft Edge (Stable) prior to 121.0.2277.98
3. Microsoft Edge (Extended Stable) prior to 120.0.2210.167
4. Other Chromium based browser.
Solutions:
1. Update Chrome Browser to 125.0.6422.112/113 or the latest version.
2. Update Edge Browser to 125.0.2535.67 or the latest version.
3. Incase the updates are not available, use a non-Chromium browser like Firefox.
It is advisable to download the latest version of all browsers to mitigate any security risks.
